Here at Layne Farms we strive to have quality not quantity.  We take a select few to the sales each year. We focus on weanling and broodmare sales only. Our main priority are the horses.

We start prepping 60 days out from sale date. Our dedicated staff does not miss the smallest detail. Every horse has it’s own program. That is what gives Layne Farms that special touch. As soon as your horse arrives at Layne Farms, they are put on live video that you can view via internet. You can watch your horse being prepped and  be  assured of their care and progress. Communication is also what we believe in. You will get weekly updates on your horse via email. Or you can contact us anytime.

Prepping for the October sale - Horses are put in during the day and out at night. Here in Florida we can do that since the weather is not cold enough for blankets yet. The January sales we start putting blankets on them and leaving them up at night. It is very beneficial to get hoods on the blankets, as the hoods make a big difference in the hair coat.

Our farrier will trim your weanling and mares once a month. If corrective trimming needs to be done, we will evaluate and trim accordingly. We supplement the horses with American Mybeau and Mass for muscle building the natural way. We do not give any steroids. We only supplement the natural way!

Our goal is to best prepare the horse to reach its maximum potential in the sales ring and on the track.
